HUMAN RESOURCES, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
SUBDIVISION HUMAN RESOURCE
The Division is responsible for providing administration, support and advisory services on matters relating to Human Resource Management.
Specific functions:
- Facilitate recruitment process
- Manage Industrial Relations
- Administer employees benefits
- Attend to staff members grievances
- Ensure adherence to Affirmative Action Act
- Coordinate wellness activities
- Ensure that rules and Regulations are well understood, abide by all staff members and implemented
SUBDIVISION TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Coordinate training and development strategies aligned to the Ministry’s goals and objectives for the realization of the Ministry’s mandate. The training and development strategies further seeks to support professional development and build capabilities across the Ministry, on time, and in a cost-effective manner.
Specific functions:
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) after every three years and/or when need arise;
- Develop and implement Human Resource Development Plan annually.
- Facilitate induction training to appointed/promoted/transferred staff members
- • Coordinate the implementation of the three reform initiatives namely Performance Management, Customer Service Charter and Business Process Re- engineering
